Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable efficient combustion of alcohol fuel and improved safety and space heating effect by exposing a vaporization wick to the space between porous internal and external flame cylinders and by specifying the total area of the pores in the flame cylinders in relation to the vaporization wick.
CONSTITUTION: The top of an oil tank 1 is provided with an external wick cylinder 3 which surrounds externally a suction wick 2, and the bottom of the oil tank 1 with an internal wick cylinder 4 which supports internally the suction wick 2. The section of the suction wick 2, which protrudes from the external and internal fire vessels 5 and 6 mounted respectively on the external and internal wick cylinders 3 and 4, constitutes a vaporizer 7. The external and internal fire vessels 5 and 6 are mounted respectively with the porous external and internal flame cylinders 8 and 9. An outside cylinder 10 surrounds externally the external flame cylinder 8 to complete the combustion device. To attain the desired end, set the total area of pores in the two flame cylinders 8 and 9 in relation to the vaporizer 7 exposed to the space between the flame cylinders at 6 percent or more of the total area of all pores in the flame cylinders.
