Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a stable complete combustion in a combustion cylinder so as to reduce a generation and accumulation of tarry component by a method wherein an additional cylinder having its top end opened and its lower end being contacted with the inner and outer flame cylinders is arranged at either an inside or outside of the inner flame cylinder forming a combustion cylinder for a wick burner.
CONSTITUTION: Cylindrical inner flame cylinder 2, outer flame cylinder 3 and outer cylinder 4 are arranged concentrically to each other so as to form a duplex type combustion cylinder 1. Combustion chamber 5 is formed by the inner flame cylinder 2 and the outer flame cylinder 3 having a number of air holes 2a and 3a, respectively. Fuel gasification part 6a for a cylindrical wick 6 of heat-resistant porous material is held by the inner core cylinder 8 and the outer core cylinder 9, supported by the core fitting 7 and projected therefrom. With this arrangement, low temperature air being raised in the core inner cylinder 8 is raised up at an inside part of the sub-cylinder 10 in cooperation with the sub-cylinder 10 arranged at an inside of the inner flame cylinder 2, directly fed into a combustion chamber 5 through the air holes 2a at a place higher than the leading end of the sub-cylinder 10 and flowed down along the inner flame cylinder 2, heated, its pressure is reduced and finally fed to the gasification part 6a.
