Abstract
PURPOSE: To catch the fine particles contained in muddy water and to well control the concentration of said water, by controlling the concentration of the water by using a deposited filter-bed layer formed on the upper side of the layer and sending compressed air into the muck-containing muddy water.
CONSTITUTION: Compressed air is introduced into a tank 16 through a pipe 26 when a blade wheel 30 is rotated. When remained soil consisting of fine particles is deposited in a space 39, it forms a filter-bed layer 41, and fine particles contained in muddy water are filtered by the layer 41 so that the quantity of the particles is controlled. Accordingly, the concentration of muddy water after the filtration is always kept almost constant by presetting the thickness of the layer 41 i.e. the height of the space 39 properly. Then, the muck-containing muddy water introduced into the tank 16, is separated into the mucks to be dicharged through a pipe 38 and the muddy water to be discharged through a pipe 42 and to be reused.
