Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the setting of frequency deviation of frequency value at low temperatures to a quartz oscillator at the manufacture of the quartz oscillator, by heating the low temperature side of the quartz oscillator through the heating of a posistor for the compensation of the temperature frequency deviation of the quartz oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A low temperature compensation section 1 consists of a heater comprising a posister 24 showing positive characteristics to temperature, quartz oscillator 11 closely attached to the posistor 24, and cover 25. The oscillated frequency deviation can be suppressed by heating the quartz oscillator 11 to a desired temperature by the posistor 24. The cover 25 closely adheres the posistor 24 with the quartz oscillator 11 to deliver the heat of the posistor 24 to the quartz oscillator 11 efficiently and to prevent heat dissipation to external air.
