Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the sharing of a sheet of reflector for multiple frequencies, by giving the zoning to a part of a rotary paraboloidal mirror of a reflector antenna to a certain frequency and supplying different frequencies independently from different focuses corresponding to each other. CONSTITUTION:Areas 6 and 7 of a mirror surface of a reflector antenna are rotary paraboloids based on a focus 5 and then set so that a coincidence is obtained the original mirror surface 1 and the rotation symmetric axis. Thus a mirror surface 6 contacts with the surface 1 at A on the symmetric shaft. Here the intersection between the mirror surfaces 7 and 1 is referred to as C, and an edge part which cuts the surface 6 by a cone connecting the intersection C and a focus F' is referred to as B respectively. Then the ring-shaped surface 7 is connected to the outside of the surface 6 with no change of position to obtain a composite mirror surface of ABCD. A distance l1 between the surfaces 6 and 7 is designed so that the value 2l1 is equivalent to an integer-fold value of the free space wavelength of the electric wave to be supplied on the focus 5. A radiator is installed on focuses 2 and 5 respectively.
