Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent blocking of machineries and to enable to perform a stable continuous analysis of exhaust gas, by a method wherein exhaust gas, collected by a heated sampling tube, is caused to run through a wet wall tube for pretreatment to remove impurities in gas. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas, collected from a flue 1 through a sampling tube 2 heated at higher than 200 deg.C by a sheathed heating means 3, is fed to a water stowing tank 6 through a wet wall tube 5, and is fed to a gas analysis gauge through a gas couduit 9 and an air pump 10. The tube wall of the wet wall tube 5 is always covered with water circulating from the tank 6, in order, to a pump 6, a tube 7, a water strage tank 4, the wet wall tube 5, and the water stowing tank 6. During the passage of the exaust gas through the tube 5, a tarry material, soot dust, vapor, which asr in the exhaust gas, are all absorbed to a flow water bed for the removal (or since the sampling tube is heated, no tar is condensed to the tube so heated). Meanwhile, the tarry material, staying in the water stowing tank 6, is discharged through a valve 12 and a tube 11, where necceary.
