Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the highly reliable rotor having less breakdown by a method wherein a microgap is provided between a protruded section and the cover section of a heat exchanger without shrinkage-fitting the heat exchanger cover on the protruded section of a torque tube. CONSTITUTION:After the heat exchanger cover 12 has been loosely fitted to the protruded section 2c leaving a microgap 21 between the heat exchanger cover 12a and the protruded section 2e without shrinkage-fitting on the protruded section 2e formed on the outer circumference of the torque tube, the cover 12 is bonded with padding 20 by welding. Accordingly, there is no possibility of generation of cracks on the heat exchanger cover 12a when the padding 20 is provided by welding, and the reliable rotor both in structure and strength can be obtained.
