Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the resistance to corrosion and the strength against internal pressure and to lower the cost for the manufacture, by covering the outer circumferential surface of a heat pipe with an outer pipe in close contact therewith, providing the outer circumferential surface of the outer pipe with fins, and attaching caps to both projected ends of the outer pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The outer pipe 2 covers the outer circumferential surface of the heat pipe 1, the fins 3 are provided on the outer circumferential surface of the outer pipe 2, and the caps 2a, 2b are attached to the both ends extending from the outer pipe 2. As a consequence, because the heat pipe 1 is completely covered, the resistance to corrosion and the strength against the internal pressure can be improved, and the cost of the manufacture can be reduced.
