Abstract

PURPOSE:To form an insulating thin film with uniform film thickness on an electrode substrate easily by an offset printing means, by using a photosensitive resin letterpress plate having a specifically worked surface. CONSTITUTION:On a base table 1, a plate surface plate 2 and a printing surface plate 3 are provided successively, and the printing surface plate supports a transparent substrate G having electrodes. On the plate surface plate, a satin glass plate 4(having 5-10mum surface roughness) to be applied with ink of a polyimide solution forming an orientation insulating film is mounted. A blanket 5 and a roller 6 applied with the ink are installed facing to the base table, a photosensitive resin letterpress plate 7 having a printing pattern is arranged on the flank of a blanket barrel, and the surface of the plate 7 is provided 8 with 200 meshes for securing the stay of the ink and its viscosity. As the base table moves, the ink is transferred to the crape glass and then transferred to the letterpress plate, and it is further transferred to the transparent substrate to form the insulating film.
