Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a disk from being damaged, by opening and closing selectively a cover body provided on a jacket inserting port, through a driving body by use of a hook body placed in a player. CONSTITUTION:A cover body 11 which can be rocked freely is provided so as to cover an inserting port 14 of a jacket 16 of a player 12. Also, a hook body 59 of a stopper device 38 provided inside of the player is interlocked with a lifting motion of a turntable by a driving body 39 connected to a rocking lever 40, and it is selectively attached or detached to an from a part of the cover body 11, by which the cover body 11 is opened or closed. In this way, while the reproducing operation is executed, insertion of not only the jacket 16 but also other substance is inhibited so that the disk is not damaged.
