CONSTITUTION:A temperature of a fixing device is detected by a temperature detector 1, is converted digitally by an A/D converter 2, and is inputted to a microcomputer 4. On a copy sheet number indicator 5, the number of copy sheets is always displayed in accordance with a command from the microcomputer 4. When a temperature display key 3 is turned on, the microcomputer 4 switches the present mode to a temperature display mode, converts a data of a temperature of the fixing device from the A/D converter 2, to a display temperature, and displays it on the copy sheet number indicator 5.
