Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform monitoring and measurement easily and accurately when a copying machine is in use by selecting freely and displaying successively signals from various detectors in the copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer CPU1 is provided with functions of discriminating the upper limit and lower limit of digital data by channels so as to discriminate by channels whether the digital data exceeds its upper limit or lower limit, and when it exceeds each limit, flash display operation is performed by a display device 9 and the operation of a multiplexer 13 for the next channel is inhibited. As a result, display operation for each measurement item is performed successively and if dispaly data of some measurement item goes beyond its normal range, the data is dispalyed as it is by being flashed to check only the abnormal item securely without monitoring numerals on the dispaly device 9 for every measurement item.
