Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent noise generation resulting from the attraction of dust floating in the atmosphere by preventing the charging of an optical recording medium with a laser beam by providing a conductive film in addition to a plastic base and an organic recording film for recording. CONSTITUTION:A conductive film 3, such as a film of indium oxide which is transparent to laser beams, is laminated over an organic recording film 2 (e.g. a mixture of nitrocellulose and hyestuff) for nonreversible recording with a laser beam formed over the surface of a plastics base 1 (e.g. cellulose acetate) which is transparent to the laser beam. It is necessary to form the conductive film 3 in an extremely thin layer so that pore formation in the recording film is not interfered. In the case of information reading by the reception of light of reflection, a reflection film (e.g. a thin aluminum film) may be provided between the base 1 and the recording layer 2 as occasion demands.
