Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the shape of a three-dimensional curved surface accurately and quickly, by swinging a specific arm having a sensor at the tip, moving the sensor along the curved surface to be measured and operating and displaying the coordinates from the detection signal of angles. CONSTITUTION:At the tip of the 1st arm 31 fitted rotatably with the 1st shaft 32, the 2nd arm having a sensor 36 at the tip is fitted rotatably with the 2nd shaft 38. The arm 31 and an arm 37 are swung with actuators 33, 40 to keep the sensor 36 at a fixed distance with respect to a curved surface to be measured and to move it along the inspected plane, and the detection signal from the 1st and 2nd angle detectors 34, 41 changing with this movement is inputted to an arithmetic device to operate the coordinates of the sensor 36. Further, the operating value signal from this arithmetic device is inputted to a display device such as a CRT to display a sectional shape such as a crossing line between a three-dimensional curved plane and an inspected plane such as a blade of a runner 3.
