Abstract

PURPOSE: To smoothly perform the ignition of a heavy gas such as LPG or the like, eliminate incandescent irregularity and perform a stable combustion by providing one through several ignition holes at the lower part of an outer flame cylinder and providing a pilot burner in the proximity of the ignition hole.
CONSTITUTION: The lower part of an outer flame cylinder 22 is formed into a premixing part 33, and a part of the lowermost of an outer flame cylinder air hole 34 for supplying air for premixing is formed into a hole for igniting, and thus two ignition holes 35 are formed. A pilot burner 36 exists between an interrupting cylinder 28 and the outer cylinder 22 in the proximity of the ignition hole 35, and a pilot burner flame 37 branches and forms a flame 38 entering between the outer flame cylinder 22 and an inner flame cylinder 21 from the ignition hole 35, and a flame 39 at the lower part of a combustion air hole 41 of the incandescent part 40 of the outer flame cylinder 22. A raw gas is sent to the burner 33, and discharged between the inner flame cylinder 21 and the outer flame cylinder 22 and mixed with air from air holes 43 and 44, thus the raw gas rising. Upon this occasion, when the flame 37 of the pilot burner 36 is fired, the gaseous mixture is ignited to start the combustion.
