CONSTITUTION:The output of a nonlinear type distortion correction circuit 1 which consists of a cube circuit 10 functioning as an odd function input characteristic circuit, a complex multiplier 14 functioning as a variable complex factor circuit and an adder 13 is supplied to a discriminator 2 and an error detector 3 which estimate the correct value from a distorted digital input signal. The output of the error detector 3 and the discriminator 2 is supplied to a block 4. The block 4 increases and decreases the complex factor of a multiplier 14 according to the output of the detector 3 and the estimated value of the discriminator 2 and corrects nonlinear type distortion of the digital modulation input by using the nonlinear type characteristic of the circuit 1.
