Abstract

PURPOSE:To extract and record the picture signal of a desired frame rapidly and stably, by converting the picture signal to a digital signal and by storing temporarily and processing the digital signal and by modulating the intensity of a laser beam to record it. CONSTITUTION:The receiving signal which is received by an antenna 1 and has the channel selected by a tuner 2 becomes a video signal through a detector 3. This video signal is converted to a digiral video signal by an A/D converter 9 and is converted to a parallel signal by a series-parallel converter 10 and is stored in memories 11A, 11B-14A and 14B successively. Memories 11A-14A out of these memories correspond to odd fields, and memories 11B-14B correspond to even fields. When one-frame components of the digital video signal are stored in respective memories, respective stored contents are read out by a copy command and are arranged in the order of the original video signal by changeover switches 15-18 and are restored to an analogue video signal by a D/A converter 19 and are supplied to a laser beam printer 20, thus forming a copy picture.
