Abstract

PURPOSE: The automatic broken yarn fixer is provided with a device for detecting the success of failure in yarn connection by the yarn connector and with a lever for making the reel-stopping mechanism restart when the yarn connection is failed, thus preventing the confusion that might be caused when the yarn connection is failed.
CONSTITUTION: At the same time when the automatic yarn connector 23 srarts, the magnet 32 is excited to shift the detection lever 33 to the front of the automatic yarn connector 23. When the yarn connection is failed, the yarn tension does not act on the lever 33, which does not move and the detector 34 does not move as well. Thus, the switch does not close to excite the magnet coil 37a, whereby the lever 31 kicks up the tension bar 6 to press the brake wheel 14 to ward the wheel 8 to stop the rotation.
