Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is compact and has durability, by making a residual toner pass through fine holes on the surface of a sleeve by electric force based on the potential gradient, and collecting it. CONSTITUTION:A residual toner 13 on a photosensitive drum surface 11 after transfer has no electrical binding force to the drum surface 11, and is collected easily by a electric conductive fur brush 15 to which plus bias voltage being opposite in polarity to the toner is applied. The toner which is taken into a cleaning device 16 is shifted to the inside through fine holes which is not shown in the figure, on the sleeve surface by applying voltage to a screw conveyor 17 provided inside of the sleeve, and is discharged to a collected toner saucer 19 by the conveyor 17.
