Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A condensate the feed-water system which feeds the condensate, condensed in a condenser 2 from the steam exhausted from a steam turbine, through condensate pumps 3 to a boiler is provided with a side stream line 24, which connects condensate pipes 21 and 23 by bypassing a condensate pipe 22 which acts as a balance pipe. The bypass line 24 consists of side-stream-system branch pipe 24A, a condensate-purification-equipment inlet pipe 24B, a condensate-purification-equipment oulet pipe 24C, side-stream-system junction pipe 24d. The branch pipe 24A is provided with a side stream pump 25, and an air ejector 4, and a gland steam condenser 5: a condensate-purification equipment 20 is provided between the pipes 24B and 24C; a side-stream-flow-quantity control valve 26 is provided between the pipes 24C and 24D.
