PURPOSE:To shorten the distance between cylinders, by separating the piston sealing grooves of the circumferential walls of the cylinders from each other in the axial direction of the cylinders. CONSTITUTION:Piston sealing grooves 26, 27, which are provided on the circumferential walls of cylinders 5, 6 juxtaposed in the driving part 4 of a caliper section 3, are placed at different distances from the inlet ends of the sylinders 5, 6. Since the piston sealing grooves 26, 27 are provided on the circumferential walls of the cylinders 5, 6 and separated from each other in the axial direction of the cylinders, the partition wall 28 between the cylinders 5, 6 needs only the minimum thickness for necessary strength so that the distance between the cylinders 5, 6 is made short. Therefore, the width l2 of the caliper section 3 is minimized and a reaction part 14 needs only two reaction elements 14d, 14e.
