Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the assembly by forming the calliper body with left and right halves with one of these halves formed integrally with the vehicle frame and securing the other half to the first one by bolts or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A calliper body 2 consists of left and right halves 6. One of these halves 6 is made integral with the vehicle frame 1, and the other half 6 is coupled to the first one by bolts 7. A brake disc 3 is urged by opposite side pads 4 supported by respective outer side support plates 9, which are slidable along guide rods 10 consisting of lateral bolts penetrating an upper portion each of them. A pair of coupling screws 7 are provided on the opposite outer sides.
