Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a large and thin video indicator by a simple constitution, by dividing a fluorescent screen into plural parts in both the horizontal and vertical direction, driving a vertical deflecting circuit stepwise by the horizontal period, and arraying sectioned signals in one row in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:An electronic gun is provided in a widened-out from so that it is opened in one body toward the front glass side by common metallic plates H1, H2, on plural fluorescent body screens being at least adjacent in both the horizontal and vertical directions. A vertical deflecting circuit 20 is formed to a vertical deflecting circuit which is varied stepwise by a horizontal synchronizing signal, vertical deflection electrodes V1, V2 are driven, a video signal of at least 1H period is stored, this video signal is sectioned in accordance with voltage division in the horizontal direction, a sectioned signal is read out separately, and is supplied in one row in the horizontal direction.
