Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the gap between a plate frame and a heat insulation filling by a method wherein a surface heating element is laid in the bottom of a bottomed metal plate frame and after that foamable resin is poured in said plate frame and hardened.
CONSTITUTION: After the bottomed metal plate frame 1 is laid with the surface heating element 2 in its inside bottom, the plate frame 1' is assembled in a heating mold heated and maintained at the temperature of the order of 40°C and foamed- in-place by pouring and filling with molten polyurethane having the pouring density of 0.05W0.10g/cm2 into the plate frame 1. And the heating of the heating mold is stopped and, after that, the plate frame 1 is disassembled from the mold after the elapse of time of 10W30min which is required for hardening of polyurethane to be used as a floor heating panel. Due to the manufacturing method mentioned above, the complete joining of the plate frame 1 with the heat insulation material such as polyurethane 3 is estalished and no gap is generated between the frame 1 and polyurethane 3. Consequently the moisture coming up from below floor boards can be shut-off and as well as the heat dissipation to below floor boards can be prevented.
