Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the strength of the engaging parts at both ends of an adiabatic plate for construction by increasing the foaming density at the engaging parts higher than in the central part in the preparation of the plate.

In this instance, the supply of heating steam or cooling water is controlled so that the parts 4 for forming engaging parts will have a temperature of 10°C and the part 5 for forming the central part will have a temperature of 30°C. The foaming and hardening starts in the part 5 earlier than in the parts 4 due to such temperature control. As the foaming and hardening goes on in the part 5, the resin composition will flow toward the parts 4, where engaging parts having a higher density than the central part can be obtained.
