Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable smoothly conveying stuffs in such a way that erect portions which provide concavities forward and backward are installed on chain links, and stuffs to be conveyed can be released at the places where they can be round on sprockets.
CONSTITUTION: A chain 1 which is spanned on sprockets 5, 6 has erect portions 3' on which its links 3 are protruded upward, and concavities 4a, 4b are formed in their front and rear parts. Their concavities are in the shape corresponding to objects 8 to be conveyed, such as cylindrical rods, the objects 8 can be supplied at the place where there is a sprocket 5, and when they are opened at a sprocket 6, they are expelled, but since the concavities are closed when they are on the way to be conveyed, there is no cause of letting the objects fallen down, and they can be reliably conveyed.
