Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the opening or closing of a cavity block without requiring exclusive driving source by arranging a cavity block return rod having a knock pin and a compression return spring for each division unit of the cavity block.
CONSTITUTION: In the die opening, after the lifting of an upper die 1, upon the thrust of an injector turbine 23, a knock pin 16 moves up through a carriage 21 to push up a cavity block 11. The cavity block 11 slides upward and outward with the outer surface 12 being guided by the conical inner surface 6a of a conical recess 6 on a lower die 2 while the inner surface 13 thereof is being guided by a triangular- pyramid-shaped guide projection 8, and divided into division units 11a, 11b and 11c so as to be opened separately in three directions. Meanwhile the molding 4 is separated from a core 3 and simultaneously from the cavity block 11. Thus, it is pulled out of the die.
