Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the feeling of disorder during switching, by giving the synchronous control to the reproduced output from the comparison of phase of the reproduced signal after setting the succeeding recorder at a speed of reproduction different from the normal value when the continuous reproduction is carried out with use of two tape recorders, etc. CONSTITUTION:Tape recorders A and B are used, and the continuous reproducing is carried out by switching the recorder A to the recorder B. In such case, the termination part of the tape of the recorder A and the initiation part of the tape of the recorder B are recorded at a time for a prescribed period of time, and the low frequency signals for detection are superposed on each other. Thus the recorder A is operated in the normal speed, and the recorder B is started at a point near its tape termination and in a speed different from the normal value. The outputs of reproducing amplifiers 2 and 5 of the recorders A and B are supplied to a control circuit 7, and the recorder B is controlled between the high and low speeds from the comparison of phase of the reproduced output and via a motor driving circuit 6 to be converged to the normal speed. The input to a line amplifier 8 is switched to an amplifier 5 by the signal of the circuit 7 at a time point when the synchronism is obtained between the outputs of the amplifiers 2 and 5.
