Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled dust removing system which prevents the internal atmospheres of dry-type dust removers from bringing about condensation of acids or water due to cooling of the dust removers, by a method wherein dry-type dust removers are provided respectively for each of the plural blast furnaces independently, and when one of the blast furnaces is not blasted, part of the gas on other blast furnace side can be passed through the dry-type dust remover provided for said non-blasted blast furnace.
CONSTITUTION: The blast furnace gas discharged from the blast furnace 1 or 1' is treated by a coarse dust remover 2 or 2' such as a cyclone to remove coarse dusts, and it is then fed to the dry-type dust remover 3 or 3' such as a bag filter through an inlet shut-off valve 4 or 4' to remove coarse dusts. The gas discharged from the dust remover 3 or 3' is then fed to a power recovering turbine 8 or 8' through an outlet shut-off valve 7 or 7' to simultaneously recover energy and decompress the gas substantially to the atmospheric pressure, and the gas is diected into a gas holder. When the blast furnace 1' is not blasted, the valves 4', 7' on the blast furnace 1' side are closed, while an inlet connecting valve 5 and an outlet connecting valve 6 are opened, and part of the blast furnace gas of the blast furnace 1 is permitted to flow through the dust remover 3' for the blast furnace 1' in the direction of arrows, thereby preventing the dust remover 3' from being cooled. Such as operation is also conducted when the blast furnace 1 is not blasted.
