Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable a correct measurement of a volume of cooling water by a method wherein inlet and outlet temperatures of cooling water, inlet and outlet temperatures of cooled fluid and a temperature of surrounding atmosphere are sensed and the feeding condition of the cooling water is discriminated.
CONSTITUTION: Temperature sensors 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 are arranged at the inlet and outlet of the cooling water pipe 5 in the heat exchanger 4, the inlet and outlet of the oil pipe 3 and around the facility 1, respectively. Temperature signal from the temperature sensors 9W13 are fed to the calculation unit 14. In the calculation part in the calculation unit 14, some discrimination parameters are calculated in reference to the calculation equation on the basis of the temperature signals, the calculated parameters are compared with the tolerance value so as to descriminate the feeding condition of the cooling water. When an abnormal water feeding condition is found, non-operable signal is transmitted to a control part for the driving unit and then the facility 1 is stopped.
