Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively pick up only the specific part on a monitor TV, by making signal processing so that the masking part can be decided at 1H period when a threshold value is detected by a timer circuit and repeating this operation when a vertical synchronizing signal is obtained. CONSTITUTION:A video camera 1 picks up an objective and a monitor TV2 obtains a composite video signal transmitted from the camera 1 for monitor picture. A signal processing section 3 processes the composite video signal and obtains the picture for the specific part only, the threshold value of the composite video signal is detected at a threshold value detection section 3a for the judgement of the composite video level. When this output exceeds a set level, setting is made and resetting is made at the next vertical synchronizing signal after the end of one horizontal scanning, and similar operation can be repeated at the next horizontal scanning. Thus, such an inconvenience as making of a part of the specific part to be desired or the appearance of unnecessary part can be avoided on the monitor TV.
