Abstract
PURPOSE:To less a wow and flutter without improving the performance of a tape running system, by varying the transfer period of a charge transfer element, which corrects the time axis of a reproduced audio signal, on the basis of the playback control signal of a capstan system. CONSTITUTION:In the reproduction of a magnetic reproducing device, a phase comparator 27 makes a phase comparison between a playback control signal from a control head 23 and a signal obtained by putting the reference signal fa of a reference oscillator 19 in phase by a delay circuit for tracking control and the resulting signal is inputted to an LPF. A signal having a high-frequency component eliminated by the LPF34 varies the oscillation output of a voltage-controlled oscillating circuit 33, whose oscillation output is supplied as clock pulses to a charge transfer element 32. A reproduced audio signal reproduced by an audio head 30 and amplified by an amplifier 31 is inputted to the element, and after its time axis is corrected, the result is sent to an LPF35. Thus, the transfer peiod of the element 32 is varied on the basis of the control signal of a capstan system to correct the time axis securely, thereby lessening a wow and flutter.
