Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a polypropylene resin compsn. for molding, which gives products having good surface gloss and excellent rigidity and impact resistance, by blending a specified inorg. filler compsn. together with a higher fatty acid or a derivative thereof with a polypropylene resin. CONSTITUTION:There is used an inorg. filler compsn. consisting of 95-5wt% talc having an average particle size of 5mu or smaller and 5-95wt% calcium carbonate having an average particle size of 0.5 or smaller, the ratio of average particle size of calcium carbonate to talc being 0.1 or lower. 40-98wt% polypropylene resin (A) such as an ethylene-propylene block copolymer having an ethylene content of 1-10wt%, 60-2wt% above described inorg. filler compsn. (B) and 0.1-10pts.wt. (based on the amount of component B) higher fatty acid (or its ester or amide) are blended together.
