Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition that is made by adding a chemically modified polyolefin and a surface-treated filler to a thermoplastic resin, thus being suitably used for parts of electronic applicances, because of its giving moldings with high heat resistance and good appearance.
CONSTITUTION: A resin mixture (100pts.wt.) composed of 99W80wt% of thermoplastic resin, 1W20wt% of polyolefin chemically modified with a liquid rubber, preferably polybutadiene hydroxylated on chain terminals, and an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative and a filler coated on the surface with an unsaturated carboxylic acid, preferably acrylic acid by mixing them at 100W150°C (such as calcium carbonate) (10W25pts) are melt kneaded under heating.
