Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of component parts to realize the miniaturization of a magnetic recorder and reproducer, by using a coil spring member for the means that shifts a tape leading member. CONSTITUTION:Tape leading member shifting mechanisms 10a and 10b are provided at both the tape entrance side and the tape exit side and so constituted as to use coil spring members 11a and 11b. A tape leading member 1a at the tape entrance side is put on the upper face of a chassis 6 through its support plate 2a, and a lower projected part 3a-1 and a guide pin 5a are fitted to a guide groove 7a to move the member 1a along the groove 7a and toward arrows A1 and A2. In the same way, a tape leading member 1b can also move along the groove 7b and toward arrows B1 and B2.
