Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture the captioned gasket having the optimum combination of sealing and unsealing property by a method wherein the gasket molded by olefin resin composition mixed with a special lubricant is treated by heating.
CONSTITUTION: Room temperature solid lubricant (e.g.; hydroxy stearic acid) of 0.001W10% by weight having a melting point satisfying formula I [T0 shows the melting point (°C) of an olefin resin; TL shows the melting point (°C) of a lubricant] and a solubility parameter satisfying formula II (SPO shows the solubility parameter of an olefin resin; SPL shows the solubility parameter of a lubricant) is mixed with olefin resin (e.g.: high density polyethylene) of MI: 0.01W100. The olefin resin composition obtained is molded into a gasket inside and outside a vessel cover. This gasket is treated by heating for 10minW48hr at temperatures lower than melting points of the resin and the lubricant and at most at 40°C lower than the melting point of the lubricant.
