Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the water level in a well constant, promote the springing-up of water and operate a pump more stably by a method wherein a partition part is provided in a bottom part of a well and the lower end of a suction pipe is opened below the partition part.
CONSTITUTION: The suction pipe 2 is inserted into the interior bottom part of the well 3 and the lower end 4 of the pipe 2 is submerged in well water. The partition part 5 for partitioning the interior of the well into upper and lower parts is provided in the interior bottom part of the well corresponding to the lower part of the suction pipe 2, with the well water present at both the upper part 6 and the lower part 7 separated by the partition part 5. When the pump 1 is operated, the pressure in the pipe 2 becomes negative, the negative pressure is applied to the water in the lower part 7 below the partition part 5 to promote the springing-up of water from the bottom part of the well 3.
