Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce a loss of a circuit and to elevate an efficiency of electric power, by usually switching an electric power source by a pulse width modulation output, and directly applying the electric power source to an electric power amplifying circuit in case when a sound input exceeds a prescribed value.
CONSTITUTION: Sound inputs In are amplified by buffer amplifiers 22, 23, voltage amplifiers 24, 25 and electric power amplifiers 30, 31, respectively. Subsequently, only a positive wave of each sound signal and only a negative wave are detected by rectifying circuits 34, 35, and rectifying circuits 38, 39, respectively. In the positive wave side, outputs of the rectifying circuits 34, 35 are inputted to a PWM modulating circuit 37 through a low-pass filter 36, are amplified by a pulse amplifying circuit 42, and electric power of a positive electric power source 43 is switched by a main controlling circuit 44. An output of this main controlling circuit 44 is provided to the electric power amplifying circuits 30, 31. Also, when a sound signal has exceeded a prescribed value, operation of the PWM modulating circuit 37 is stopped by an output of a signal detecting circuit 52, voltage of the positive electric power source 43 is directly applied to the electric power amplifying circuits 30, 31. In this regard, the negative wave side is also operated in the same way.
