Abstract

PURPOSE:To save power consumption, by amplifying the output voltage of a temperature sensor, comparing it with outputs of 2 saw-toothd waves, controlling a heating circuit and a cooling circuit by one pulse voltage of said outputs and the other pulse voltage, respectively, and holding a constant temperature. CONSTITUTION:A thermistor THS is provided near an object M whose temperature is controlled, and its output is amplified A and also is applied to temperature setting resistances R1, RV1. An amplified signal Va is applied to comparing circuits Cc, Ch together with outputs Vc, Vh of saw-toothed wave generators SGc, SGh. One of the comparing circuits Cc, Ch generates an output in accordance with a temperature, opens and closes a TRc and a TRh, and supplies a cooling current Ic or a heating current Ih whose directions are opposite to each other, to a thermo-module THM.
