Abstract
1518019 Temperature control ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 10 Sept 1976 [11 Sept 1975] 37531/76 Heading G3R Two temperature sensors 45, 54 - which are respectively located upstream and downstream of the heater in a circulating-water heating installation, Fig. 1 (not shown) - effect switching of a signal generator 43 if and only if the temperature difference exceeds a threshold value. The generator output, once switched, provides an oscillatory output whose frequency varies with the temperature difference. This is used to effect progressive adjustment of an output element 33 whose setting determines the heat input. The output response may be independent of or dependent on the ambient temperature sensed at 49, depending on the state of a switch 48. In Fig. 3 (not shown), the switching transistor 55 of Fig. 2 is replaced by a diode and the ambient temperaturesensing arrangement is more elaborate than in Fig. 2.
