Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the condensation of a refrigerant sealed in a fine tube by a method wherein the fine tube, connecting an operating chamber at both sides of the four-way changeover valve and a pilot volve, is contacted closely with the cylindrical body of the four-way changeover valve and first flow pipe through which the refrigerant having a high pressure and a high temperature is flowing. CONSTITUTION:The fine tube 21, connecting the operating chamber 12 in the cylindrical body 1 of the four-way changeover valve and the pilot valve 8, and a fine tube 22, connecting the operating chamber 14 and the pilot valve 8, are contacted closely with the first flow pipe 2 in a heat exchanging condition. According to this method, the refrigerant carrier, sealed in the fine tube 21 or the same 22 which are blocked upon room cooling or room heating operation by the valve body 8a of the pilot valve, is heated and the gaseous condition may be kept without being condensed.
