Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the operation of a refrigerating system, by fitting a pressure control valve to a piping between a condenser and a throttle device for controlling the inlet pressure of the throttling device.
CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger 4 is fitted to exchange heat of refrigerant at a compressor 1, air-cooled condenser 2, evaporator 3 and evaporator outlet with heat of refrigerant at the condenser outlet. A thermal expansion valve 5 having a sensing cylinder 5a in a refrigerant pipe 17 between the heat exchanger 4 and the compressor 1 is also fitted to this system. A pressure control valve 6 is fitted upstream the expansion valve 5 and these devices are consecutively communicated by means of refrigerant pipes 11W17 to constitute a tefrigerating cycle. The pressure control valve 6 so works that the outlet pressure introduced from a pressure hole 6a closes a valve 6c against a diaphragm 6d, which can stabilize the refrigerating system even when the condensing pressure is lowered in accordance with the drop in outdoor temperature.
