Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate dropping of chemicals when spraying of chemicals is stopped, by placing a screen board made of soft elastic material at a specified ditance behind the orifice 2 and forming discontinuous radial cut holes at the center.
CONSTITUTION: A spray nozzle A is provided with an orifice 2 at rear end of a cylindrical spray nozzle 3, and an air inlet hole 4 is provided on the peripheral face near the tip of the orifice 2. A screen board 5 made of soft elastic material such as rubber, soft synthetic resin, etc. is placed behind the orifice 2 at a specified distance, and discontinuous radial cut holes 6 are formed at the center. When spraying of chemicals is interrupted or stopped, the cut holes 6 close immediately in correspondence to pressure drop of the chemicals which are sent by pressure.
