Abstract
PURPOSE: A surface active agent, a thickening agent and an antioxidant are added to dimethylpolysiloxane to produce a solution for internal use with remarkably increased stability, scarce formation of strange odor even on the long-term storage and activity of defoaming or removing foamed sticky solution.
CONSTITUTION: Dimethylsiloxane of the formula (n is 80W360) is combined with a surface active agent, a thickening agent and an antioxidant to give the objectie solution for internal use. The resulatant solution is almost free from the formation of strange odor and the increase in particles sizes of the oily components, when it is stored for a long period of time or under relatively high temperature and always shows constant effects. As a surface active agent, are used 30W60pts.wt. per 100pts. of dimethylpolysiloxane, of polyoxyethylene sorbitol monoleate, as a thickening agent, 20W100pts. of carboxymethylcellulose sodium and as an antioxidant, 0.001W2.0pts., per 100pts. of the surface active agent, of dibutylhydroxytoluene.
