Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily mount a brake pad, by protruding guide elements from a torque member, providing said guide elements to a pad spring and forming the end part of said guide element in a sloped state to a side of the torque member. CONSTITUTION:Guide elements 22, when a pad spring 15 is inserted into a torque member 3, is protruded from an end part of the torque member 3 and sloped with the point part to a side of the torque member 3. This pad spring 15 is interposed with plate elements 16, 17 between respectively backing metals 8, 9 and the torque member 3 in a slide contact part 14, to prevent security with rust between the backing metals 8, 9 of brake pads 4, 5 and the torque member 3. A stopper element 18 is engaged to the bottom surface of a groove 3b to stop falling off of the pad spring 15. A stopper element 19 is adapted to upper surfaces of ear parts 8a, 9a of the backing metals 8, 9 to prevent looseness of the brake pads 4, 5.
