Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily and safely wash an automobile having a jut on the roof, by controlling the ascent and descent of a top washing brush and a top nozzle depending on the time which has elapsed since side washing brushes were located outside the front of the automobile. CONSTITUTION:In an automobile brush-washing process, a top washing brush 12 is put in contact with the front edge of the top of a taxicab 15 and side washing brushes 11 are put in contact with the central part of the front of the taxicab. The vehicle is washed with the brushes 11, 12 while counting is effected since the side washing brushes 11 were moved outwards. When a first set count is reached, the brush 12 is moved up and located above a display light 16. When a second set count is reached, the brush 12 is moved down to the original washing position. During these operations, the brush-washing is still continued. A top nozzle 8 for ejecting intense cool air in a drying process is located in an ascent separated position throughout the counting to the second set value.
