Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect a fault of an oscillation measurement system in its early stage by judging that the measurement system becomes abnormal when a measured oscillation value is less than a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:Signals detected by oscillation pickups 8-11 arranged opposite to the journal bearing part of rotors 1 and 2 are amplified. Outputs from oscillation meters 12-15 are compared with reference signal voltages from reference signal voltage generators 29-32 by comparators 18-21 in a measurement monitoring device 17. When the output signals of the oscillation meters are less than the reference signal voltages from the generators 29-32, relays 22-25 operate to constitute parallel circuits mutually, and pilot lamps 33 and 36 are installed in the respective circuits. If one of the four relays 22-25 is closed, the corresponding pilot lamp turns on and a main switch 27 and a power source 26 operate to put an alarm 28 in operation.
