Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily discharge and remove filter cake by making the cake stuck as is onto a belt, by forming a filtering chamber onto a belt made of non-filtering medium.
CONSTITUTION: A filtering chamber is formed between a filtering-chamber forming space 4b of a pressing board 4 and an upper surface of a nonfilterable belt 3c by descending the board 4 onto the belt 3o to press it with the aid of cylinder 7, and crude liquid is forced to flow into the chamber from a supplying hole 4c, and filtered. The clude liquid is filtered by a filter cloth 9 attached to the board 4, and then the filtrate, after passing through a water passing net 8, is discharged through a discharging hole 4d and a discharging hose 11. When the cylinder 7 is moved upward after finishing the filtration, the filter cake is prevented from being raised by sticking to the filter cloth 9 because the cake in the chamber is pressed to stick adhesively to the belt 3c. Next, the belt 3c is drived to run by driving a conveyer 3, and the cake stuck to the belt drops by its own weight at a turning-over part of a roller 3a, and further, the remaining cake is scraped off by a scraper 12.
