Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a composite sheet having ultrafine unevenness on the surface and excellent transparency and rigidity by biaxially orienting a laminated sheet in which rubber modified polystyrene film containing diene rubber on a polystyrene sheet. CONSTITUTION:A rubber modified polystyrene film containing at least 0.1wt% of diene rubber of 0.5-15mum of mean weight distribution particle diameter is laminated on one or both side surfaces of a polystyrene sheet. In this case, the thickness of the polystyrene film is set to 1-10% of the entire thickness. This laminated sheet is then biaxially oriented. In this manner, a composite biaxially oriented sheet which has ultrafine unevenness on the surface and excellent tranparency and rigidity as well as no occurrence of rain-drop phenomenon can be obtained.
