Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare an ink sheet which is high in resolution and capable of recording a high-density image with less energy, by laminating an ink layer composed of a thermoplastic resin wherein coloring particles are dispersed on a base layer composed of polycarbonate wherein conductive particles are dispersed. CONSTITUTION:An intended ink sheet is obtained by laminating an ink layer composed of a termoplastic resin of which melting point is 0-200 deg.C wherein coloring particles are uniformly dispersed on a base layer composed of polycarbonate wherein conductive particles are uniformly dispersed. It is preferable that rhoS1 is 1X10<3>-1X10<6>OMEGA and rhoS2 is 1X10<2>-1X10<5> and rhoS1>rhoS2, where rhoS1 is sur face specific resistance of the base layer and rhoS2 is that of the ink layer.
